Join Joel and Emily who have a chat to Data & Analytics Senior Leader Florence La Carbona, with 15 years experience in consulting and financial services overseas and in Australia.
She's actively involved in the Women in Data community, Florence believes gender diversity in a data driven world moderates the creator bias engendered in analytics solutions. In 2017, she contributed to the launch of “Data Girls” in Australia encouraging women to explore career opportunities in data. In 2018, she developed the first data program for GoIT Girls promoting students from a disadvantaged background to pursue their uni curriculum in STEM. Florence was awarded Global top 100 data visionaries in 2020 by HotTopics.ht.
